Our go-to hostel in downtown Asakusa, Tokyo. In the past, interns have all stayed here during Orientation Weekend, the first weekend interns arrive in Japan.
On The Way to Safety Training
We want to make sure interns are safe in Japan. That's why we've always taken interns to a disaster training facility nearby Asakusa. We go through earthquake, fire, and typhoon simulations - yes, real water, wind, and smoke, but don't worry, there's no real fire!
Welcome Dinner at Grace Bali
After training, we had a dinner at Grace Bali in Ueno. The following picture shows more of the venue.
The Grace Bali venue - there was even a disco ball!
We visited this beautiful castle on our Hakone retreat weekend.
